Nathan came to me Sunday and said, "car". I told him his cars were with his toys or something like that. About 5 minutes later he came back to me and said, "book in the car." I then responded appropriately and showed him we brought the bag in from the car and he retrieved his book. He lit up when he saw how his words got him what he wanted and that he made his mom so happy.
Not to be outdone Chase learned how to order fast food. Now I just need to find out where you get "pooh pies and a g'rink too."
