The boys are off school today, so we decided pancakes would be a great start to our day together.

Chase was watching, so we were doing our regular language drills. I was narrating my actions. As soon as I said, "then we stir it." I realized the measuring cup with almond milk, oil and an egg was filled to the brim. I quickly mumbled, "I shouldn't have said that." Chase added, "I'ww stur it. Gotta spoon." We managed with little complication! Unfortunately (for the cat), his attention turned. He decided the cat was sick and needed a blanket. Run, Alikay, run.
